Fact. The biggest metal festival in Finland (known as Tuska = agony), has the fewest problems of all the festivals here. Flow, weekend etc. techno (or whatever it's called) festivals have problems with drugs, fighting, littering and small time crime in the areas close to the festival. They can't bring the k-9 unit to the festivals, because the dogs lose their minds from all the drugs. So yes. Metalheads are fucking saints.

I'll have to look for it. It was made to compare IQ against musical taste, somewhere in Latin America, and it came out (to no one's surprise) that people who listen to classical music and metal were smarter than average and people who listened to reggaeton were dumber than average. Again, these are all averages; my roomate is VERY smart and she loves her shitty raeggaeton. If you think about it, it's a very simple study to make: test IQ, ask people to select their favorite music, you see if there are statistically significant differences and presto, you have a study I'll look for it, though.
